Employee Integration Hub

One employee-facing hub over three HR vendors, with a mock/live seam so front-end work never waits on vendor access.

Problem

Employee data was spread across three HR, performance and recognition vendors, each with its own system. The job was to consolidate them into one hub inside Microsoft 365.

Constraints

Three vendor integrations, each with its own data shape and access process.
Front-end development couldn’t wait on live vendor access.

Decisions

An SPFx and React front end over an Azure Functions back end that handles the vendor data.
A mock/live data seam: the same interface is served by mocks during development and by the vendors in production, so the front end is built and tested without live credentials.

Outcome

Greenfield development that I led — 128 commits.
